Sussex Junior Netball League Results

Well done again to all of our squads who played in the Sussex Junior Netball League 2009.

The U11s won the Sussex KnockOut Plate, beating Mid Sussex 12-8 in the final.

The team played fantastically together. Jacqueline and Martha played superbly in defence, intercepting numerous passes into the circle. Lola, Shannon and Izzie controlled the ball down the centre court really well, supporting each other and working their socks off providing some great feeds into the circle. Lottie and Sophie fought hard against a very strong Mid Sussex defence and were shooting accurately from short and long range. Well done girls and to Katy Ritchie their team coach.

Sussex Junior Netball League Results (Sept – Dec. 2007)
Congratulations to all of our junior players who played in the first ever Sussex Junior Netball League held at Falmer from September to December 2007.
All of the squads played some really great netball as the standard was high, it was fantastic to see so many girls from all over Sussex playing in this Saturday morning league.
A big thank-you to the parents and other supporters who came out in all weathers to cheer the girls on. Thank-you as well to Angie Coleby, Hannah Cutress and Anna Brookes for umpiring as well as the great coaching from Jenny Hurley and Claire John. Not forgetting the great coaching/management skills from Nicki Cutress for the U16 squad.
